Giorgia Ohanesian Nardin is an artist, independent researcher and queer agitator of Armenian descent.  Their research is built of a collection of pedagogic and performative events that focus on experiencing pleasure as a form of resistance to systemic oppression by relating a queer/transfeminist approach to somatic practices.  Trained in dance, their work exists is the shape of movement, video, text, choreography, sound and gatherings, and deals with narratives of hostility, survival strategies, rest, friction, sensuality, healing.

Assia Ghendir is an artist and somatic healing practitioner working with the sonic and soma.

Their current practice is research-driven and exists at the intersection of geographic and geometric movements within ancestry, grief, otherness, prayer and queerness. Using mediums of movement, voice, devotional sound and breathwork.

Claudia Palazzo is an artist and dancer working across the intersections and contradictions of dance, performance art, alternative cabaret, and film. It exists somewhere between the nightclub, gallery, and street and focuses on the live experience as a place for highly charged connections. The work/ dancing/ body seeks to build/hold territories and spaces to consider/feel non verbal agreements, desires and understandings.

“Aesthetically my work is heavily influenced by my roots in nightclub culture and inner-city concrete dwellings. I seek to establish charged connections and subliminal understandings with an audience in order to process and harness our collective sense of freedom, sadness, resistance, power and endurance”

Claudia is often preoccupied with, how to move through, deal with, process and oppose systems of violence.

Chloe AyoDeji Filani, Artist of Poetry, Performance, Black Feminism, Public Speaker and workshop facilitator. My artistic practise/poetry works with my lived experience of being a black trans woman and the broader themes of identity of power structures and finding hope in the imagination and storytelling.

Mistura Allison is an independent researcher, curator and art historian. She is the founder of ashikọ – a visually driven art platform inspired by Africa and its Diaspora. She collaborates with artists and researchers to think of possibilities of ‘reclamation’.

Reclamation as a Black practice is at the heart of her work, as well as explorations of the self and notions of freedom.

Her curatorial practice is further fueled by her interest in representing the plurality of contemporary Afro-Diasporic visual and oral productions.

Théïa is a dance artist who enjoys improvisation and multidisciplinary collaborations. She is interested in working with a sensitivity to the imagination, feelings and impulses, and playing with her relationships to these and her surroundings; Practices that allow her to keep learning, meeting people/places/ideas and changing.
