Lora Krasteva appointed to Freelance Task Force
LIFT is proud to be part of the #FreelanceTaskForce – an initiative coordinated through Fuel that links around 130 arts organisations and venues creating a Freelance Task Force to ensure those who are self-employed or freelance can be better represented in conversations to come. These organisations are supporting freelancers during this precarious time so as a group they can lobby, share information and provide the sector with a roadmap for adapting to the implications of coronavirus.
We have sponsored Lora Krasteva to take part. Lora is a theatre maker, political scientist and activist. She works as Executive Producer at the international arts and homelessness movement With One Voice, and heads Global Voices Theatre. GVT is a female, non-binary and immigrant company platforming work from underrepresented creatives and connecting artists here with their international counterparts. She’s also an organiser of #MigrantsInTheatre, a group devoted to highlighting the conditions and perspectives of migrants working in our industry.
