    The BIG LIFT Quiz

    27 April, 7.00pm

    Stone Nest

Join us for a pub quiz with a LIFT twist.

In true LIFT style, we’re turning the traditional pub quiz on its head – transporting it to the unique location of Stone Nest, a former Welsh chapel and future performance space in the heart of London’s West End, and packing it full of questions that will test your knowledge of all things LIFT, that is London (how well do you know this city, from top to Thames?), International (our world, far and wide) Festival (did you know the word came from the Latin ‘Festa’ via French in modern English?) and Theatre (we’ll try not to get too geeky in this department).

Not only will it be a night of frenzied quiz fun, but you’ll also be directly supporting every element of LIFT’s work and those that benefit from it – from school students in Tottenham to artists on the other side of the world whose work we’re commissioning – it’s a win-win situation, and there’ll be prizes.

Guests will be greeted with a free drink upon arrival, the bar will be stocked high with brain-enhancing tipples and there will be a number of familiar faces popping up throughout the evening to keep you entertained.

Buy a table for your team of 8 or choose a Wildcard ticket to join some fellow LIFT buffs and get ready to go head to head with some of our top fans.

“The way LIFT injects vibrancy into the city is inspiring.”

    Rajiv Nathwani, Netflix

“LIFT is as relevant as ever - increasingly presenting work made thousands of miles away but which holds a mirror up to the UK, & setting up a dialogue between international artists & artists in the UK”

    Lyn Gardner, Guardian

“LIFT is brilliant and essential, I feel like I've travelled the world through these stories, moments and experiences - intimate, moving, mad, and totally unique.”

    LIFT 2016 audience member

“LIFT brings the best of world theatre to London. Over the years, my mind has been blown & my imagination expanded countless times. It confirms that more unites us than divides us.”

    Sir Nick Hytner, LIFT Patron
