LIFT are committed to creating safe environments for audiences, participants, artists and staff. All of our events this summer will take place in line with the latest government guidance. To be notified of any changes to our events, please sign up to our mailing list.
This summer season, all events will take place outside, with social distancing maintained and hygiene protocols in place for artists, event staff and audiences. Outdoor events will take place over a prolonged period of time to allow the maximum number of people to enjoy the performances safely, and to avoid large crowds gathering.

How will audiences comply with safety measures?
If you are attending a LIFT event outdoors, please help us to maintain social distancing by keeping 1m+ away from anyone not in your household bubble. Our event staff will encourage social distancing and both staff and artists will maintain a safe distance from the audience.
If at any time you feel unsafe at our events, please speak to a member of the event staff, recognisable by a LIFT t-shirt or lanyard.
What should I do if I have Covid-19 symptoms?
If you have symptoms of Covid-19 or have come into contact in the last 10 days with someone who has symptoms or tested positive for Covid-19, we respectfully ask that you do not attend the event. If you have symptoms you should self-isolate and order a PCR test.
Will I be required to wear a mask outside?
As with any public outdoor space, you are welcome to wear a mask but you are not legally required to do so.
How should audiences travel to events?
All of our events are accessible by private or public transport. Please use your face covering if you travel by public transport.
What amenities are available at outdoor events?
Our stewards will be able to direct you to the nearest public toilets and accessible toilets. LIFT will not be providing refreshments but stewards will be able to direct you to food and drink providers nearby. There are public benches at the sites of all outdoor LIFT events.
There will be no cloakroom or storage facilities.
Will Track and Trace be in use?
As our events are outside and not in a venue, we will not be implementing Track and Trace as per current Government guidelines. If the guidelines change, we will update our protocols accordingly.
Are the outdoor events wheelchair accessible?
All of our events are taking place outdoors in public spaces and offer full accessibility like level surfaces and ramps. If you are in a wheelchair or have other access requirements and would like more detailed information about accessing any of our events, please get in touch with Alex Rowse (Creative Producer) firstname.lastname@example.org.
If government guidance changes will the events go ahead?
LIFT are committed to adhering to the government guidelines. If the guidelines change ahead of LIFT’s outdoor events and we are no longer able to proceed, we will communicate this via our website, social media pages and mailing list. To be notified of any changes to our events, please sign up to our mailing list.
We’re doing some work to better understand our audiences. Can you help us? The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete and will help us to improve our work.
Anything you tell us will be kept confidential, is anonymous and will only be used for research purposes. The information you provide will be held by LIFT and The Audience Agency, who are running the survey on our behalf. In compliance with GDPR, your data will be stored securely and will only be used for the purposes it was given.
