Volunteer

There is always plenty to do at LIFT HQ and there's often cake and biscuits. We are always on the look out for people of all ages and backgrounds with anything from a few hours as a one-off to spare to a regular amount of time each week to help us keep the momentum going. If you’re an IT geek, DIY genius, social media obsessive, filing queen, data fan or simply love LIFT and just want to help out we’d love to hear from you.

Since being retired, volunteering at LIFT has introduced me to new people and a creative environment which I really look forward to each week. Anne - volunteer

Placements

LIFT has a long history of working with individuals to support their career development and many have gone on to play influential roles within the Arts such as RSC, Spill, BBC, Artsadmin, The National Theatre and BAC.

Placements also make a vital contribution to LIFT being able to deliver our Festivals and year round events.

We run an ongoing scheme of three-month long placements working in areas such as development, producing, participation and communications and aim to tailor each placement according to specific goals and experiences.

These placements usually run Jan-March, April-June, July-Sept and Oct-Dec and if you would like to find out more about forthcoming opportunities please sign up to our newsletter.
