If you want to get more involved in the day to day running of LIFT, we’re always interested in hearing from volunteers. At the moment, we have a range of opportunities for volunteers, and even if none of these positions are quite what you’re looking for but you’d like to get involved in LIFT 2010, we’d love to hear from you so get in touch.

 

Current vacancies include:

Volunteer Co-ordinator
We are looking for a well-organised and enthusiastic person to co-ordinate the team of approximately fifty festival volunteers. Responsibilities will include scheduling volunteers’ shifts and duties, managing travel expenses and travelling across the festival venues to ensure the smooth operation of all volunteering posts.

Previous experience on working within an artistic event is necessary.


Festival Volunteers

LIFT 2010 needs volunteers to support the smooth delivery of the festival programme. Volunteers will be involved in various positions such as front of house, administration, stewarding, distribution of marketing material. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the festival team, see behind the scenes and meet extraordinary people from around the world.


Group Hosts
During LIFT 2010, all international companies taking part in the festival will be accommodated in various places in London. We need people to provide support to the foreign theatre groups by being their main point of contact, managing logistic issues and assisting with the rehearsals. A high level of responsibility and reliability is required. We are looking for a number of people to be Group Hosts, including Russian and French speakers.


All volunteers will be provided with £10 per 8 hr shift to cover travel and lunch expenses. They will also be invited to the LIFT 2010 opening party and be able to see some LIFT shows for free.
