Truly ripping up the rulebook, the Hide&Seek Weekender brings together a network of artists, theatre makers and game designers to develop new, playful social experiences.

Drawing upon ideas developed at three events in Manchester, Birmingham and London, and led by pervasive gaming and arts organisation Hide&Seek, you can expect an extraordinary weekend of social gaming that demonstrates how game design and the liberating potential of play are generating a new type of theatrical practice that expects more from its audience.

In keeping with LIFT’s global perspective, the new games Hide&Seek is working on for the festival will have an international theme, opening up a whole new world for creative designers and curious players. There will also be a live link-up with gamers and artists in Delhi.
