As a child, the sound of ice cream vans really is music to the ears. So everyone in the Canning Town and Rainham areas are sure to be salivating with memories of screwballs on a summer’s day when composer Dan Jones’ ‘Music For Seven Ice Cream Vans’ rolls onto the streets.

Having previously scored films such as ‘Shadow Of The Vampire’ and the recent theatre hit ‘Kursk’, Jones is also the co-creator of the Sky Orchestra, where music is played between hot-air balloons suspended over a city.

‘Music For Seven Ice Cream Vans’ brings his sound down to earth however, as the seven vans drive around playing a specially-composed score, sprinkling magic like hundreds and thousands onto an ordinary day.
